We are always looking for experienced and skilled painters, decorators and plasterers to enable us to accommodate existing and future contracts.

All candidates will be required to demonstrate at least 3 years experience in all aspects of painting and decorating.

Responsibilities to include but not limited to:

1. Appropriate preparation of a wide variety of surfaces ready for painting internally and externally
2. Skilled application of all types of paint
3. Lining paper and wall paper hanging
4. Removal and replacing of coving, skirting boards and dado rails
5. Patch repairs and or filling of minor defects to wood and masonry
6. Safe working practises at heights

Should you be successful with your initial application you will be required to provide us with

1. Original certificates of competency in your discipline
2. Current public liability insurance
3. Details of any existing or previous trading names
4. 3 verifiable professional references
5. Pictures of previous projects conducted

Points to note

• We thoroughly check all references and we expect you to have good customer testimonials
• The probation period lasts until you have completed 10 jobs successfully
• After probation you will receive a 5% increase on your contractor rates
• After 3 months this will increase by 10%

The daily rate is usually cheaper if we undertake the work as part of a project over several days. If your job is smaller, we can usually supply a professional tradesperson on a daily rate basis, as shown below:
