The Multi-trade difference

There are loads of companies out there competing for your business, and you need to make sure you're armed with all the facts before you make a decision about which one to choose- here are a few things to check before you decide - we're confident that you'll choose Multi-Trade!

  • Does the company or tradesperson you're considering offer free quotations?
  • Do they offer an open and honest pricing structure with no hidden costs?
  • Are their engineers Gas Safe registered or certified to IEE 17th edition standards as a minimum? This is a legal requirement when working with gas or electricity.
  • Do they have a contactable office, not just a mobile in case of any queries?
  • Are their tradespeople honest, reliable, polite and vetted?
If the answer to any of these questions is 'no' then give us a call - we can confidently answer 'yes' to all of these questions. Not sure? Check out our testimonials page to see what some of our previous customers think of our customer service!
The Multi-trade difference
Gas safe registered engineer

Multi-trade is an expanding company and we're looking for skilled tradespeople with excellent customer care skills to join our expanding workforce. Our commitment to outstanding service means we only work with the best in their field.

If you're in a trade which is covered by government legislation you'll need accreditation from a trade body such as Gas Safe, NIC EIC, ELECSA or NAPIT.

If you'd like to join a growing company with high standards and be part of a team that leaves customers satisfied on every contact then we'd like to hear from you. You can get in touch with us by contacting us with your accredication details and the type of work you are interested in.

Question Are you insured?
Answer Yes - for your peace of mind we hold insurance for all our services up to £10,000,000
Question Are you expensive?
Answer We don't think so, no! Multi-Trade's pricing model is open and honest and most of our charges are displayed on this website. We believe that we offer excellent quality service at reasonable prices. Some companies offer you a cheap or free callout, but charge you heavily for their hourly rate or add a hefty supplement onto parts. Similarly, some companies will offer you an expensive service because their name allows them to charge a premium. Multi-trade offer free quotations for most work and our staff will always be up front about how much things are likely to cost you.
Question How much do you charge for quotations?
Answer Absolutely nothing! We provide FREE quotations which are fully specified with no obligation to you. We don't use pushy salespeople and you're free to decline our quote if you so wish.
Question How can I pay for the work I've had done?
Answer We accept cash, cheque and debit / credit card payments for all of our services.
Question Can I have a discount if I have more than one service from you?
Answer For larger projects we're happy to issue you with a FREE no obligation quote, and we always take into account how much work you're having done when compiling your quote.
Question How do we get the keys to you?
Answer In most cases you will be there when the service is provided. But we can pick keys up from estate agents on your behalf for quotes or in the evenings at your home - just let us know when you call us.
Question When will my engineer or tradesperson arrive?
Answer For your convenience we offer two-hour appointment slots. This means we won't keep you waiting all morning or evening for your appointment like some other companies.
Question Do you have a brochure I can see?
Answer Yes, our brochure contains a full description of all the services we offer and we'll send you one free - just Call us on 020 8798 3940.
Question Can I speak to someone for advice before I go ahead with a job?
Answer Of course! We are always happy to speak to you if you're not sure what you need or want some general advice. Our friendly team will try and answer any questions you might have about a job you need doing.

For bigger jobs such as building work or landscaping projects we can also arrange to come to your premises to talk things through with you, and we won't charge you for this.
