We are looking to redo the floor of our flat in London N16 and would kindly ask for a general quotation.
The raised ground floor flat has 2 rooms and a hallway currently with wood parquet flooring.
Due to house being Victorian and the current old flooring being rather noisy, we are looking to include soundproofing underlay. The aim is to avoid downstairs hearing general noise like footsteps, conversations, music and the like.
We are not sure yet about reusing the existing wood parquet or replacing it with carpet/vinyl/laminate and would be looking for advise on the matter.
The area to be done includes:
- open plan living room/kitchen, roughly 5.9 x 4.7 meter
- bedroom, roughly 4.3 x 4.2 meter
- small hallway
Timing wise we?d be looking at 1st quarter of 2021, COVID restrictions permitting of course.
Thanks
