I am embarking on a project of
redecorating my living room, part of the project is to change carpet to
engineered wood floor.
The room is about 17.5 sq m. it is on
first floor, sub-floor is 18mm chipboard. Current carpet + underlay has
thickness of 20 mm. We are going to lift and dispose carpet and underlay
ourselves, after that room will be redecorated: the skirting boards removed,
walls plastered and painted.
I found floor I love it is Kahrs Oak Grano
1830 x 189 x 14mm in matt lacquer finish.
Would you help me to lay this floor, how
much would it cost and what is your availability? I will also supply
underlay (Kahrs Tuplex 3 mm) and Kahrs scotia to be glued to the wall.
Will you be able to install 6mm plywood on
the top of chipboard and trim the door? How much extra would it cost. Thank you.
